Muslims and Christians agree on many things about Jesus (ʿĪsā).
Both believe He was born of the virgin Mary.
Both believe He performed miracles.
Both believe He was the Messiah.
Both believe He lived a life unlike any other.
Both believe He was taken up into Heaven.
And both believe He will return.
These are remarkable points of agreement.
Yet they raise an important question:

Throughout history God sent many messengers to guide humanity. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, John the Baptist, and many others faithfully served God's purposes in their generation.
But when we examine the life of Jesus, we discover a collection of characteristics, titles, and events that belong to Him alone.
This page is not asking you to accept anyone's conclusions.
It is simply inviting you to look closely at the evidence and ask an honest question: What makes Jesus different?

Every person in human history entered the world through a father and a mother.
Jesus did not.
Both the Bible and the Quran teach that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary through a miraculous act of God.
His birth was announced by angels.
His coming was foretold before He was born.
His arrival was supernatural.
Why?
If Jesus was simply another prophet among many prophets, why did God choose such an extraordinary entrance into the world?
The uniqueness of His birth invites us to look more deeply into the uniqueness of His life.

The Quran repeatedly refers to Jesus as:
Al-Masih — The Messiah.
Many people use the title without ever asking what it means.
The word Messiah means:
“The Anointed One.”
The One specially appointed and chosen by God for a unique purpose.
Many prophets were sent by God.
Yet only one is consistently identified as The Messiah.
Why did God reserve this title for Jesus?
What was His mission that required such a unique designation?
These questions deserve thoughtful consideration.
